Within such a short space of time, we have managed to set up the aims and objectives of Project APE, gather 9 loyal team members and enhance beyond our monthly fundraising targets.

10/09/08 - Playground is discussed with Mama Lynn
11/10/08 - Liam, Kate and Helen join the team
22/11/08 - Sam joins the team
26/11/08 - Day trip to meet Mama Lynn and Project APE is found
08/12/08 - Karri joins the team
18/12/08 - James joins the team
16/01/09 - Phoebe joins the team
22/01/09 - Project APE bank account is set up
30/01/09 - 1st Fundraiser on the Ferry Station
27/02/09 - 2nd Fundraiser on the Ferry Station
04/03/09 - 9 flights to Dar es Salaam are booked
09/03/09 - Pool competition held at the Sportsman Inn
15/03/09 - 3 team members take place in the Bath Half Marathon
19/03/09 - Tom Talmage raises £620 for us
21/03/09 - Second team brief is dispatched
27/03/09 - 3rd Fundraiser on the Ferry Station
27/03/09 - Project APE receive publicity from the UWE
29/03/09 - Project APE makes the BBC news website

20/04/09 - Project APE logo is complete
23/04/09 - Project APE is discussed live on Bristol Community Radio
25/04/09 - 4th Fundraiser on the Ferry Station
27/04/09 - Project APE receive a £1000 grant from Rediscover Your Heart
02/05/09 - Third team brief is dispatched
16/05/09 - Dave Charris generously donates £1160
19/05/09 - Project APE is publicised in the Evening Post
05/06/09 - 5th Fundraiser on the Ferry Station
08/06/09 - Designing of the playground begins
12/06/09 - Project APE is exhibited at the UWE summer exhibition
15/06/09 - Architectural competition launched
03/07/09 - Goddard Gathering fundraiser raised £2,400
10/07/09 - Playground components arrive
14/07/09 - Project APE receives sponsorship from PlayQuestAdventure Play Ltd
15/07/09 - Sam managed to raise over £800 by cycling solo from John o' Groats to Lands End
17/07/09 - APEs fly out to Tanzania
21/07/09 - APEs start the construction of the Playground
10/08/09 - Three students complete epic bike ride home from Erasmus placement in Holland
13/09/09 - The Adventure Playground for Education is officially opened!
